If you are playing in the 2015 NZMGA National Tournament it is important that you read and understand all of the Rules and Conditions.

Motorised Golf Carts
With the exception of Masters and Golden Girls all other players must present a medical certificate before commencement of play. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
There is a restriction on Golf Carts and players requesting these may need to share. Should there be an excess in demand, carts will be allocated by the Tournament Director according to need.
Cart bookings and payments must be made directly with the Taupo Golf Club pro-shop.

Farmlands Charity $100,000 Hole-in-one competition
Because we're in Taupo we just had to do it! We're running our very own hole-in-one competition.
All proceeds will go to Hospice NZ. Come down to Taupo Golf Club on Saturday 11 April or Sunday 12 April 2014 to qualify. Have some fun whilst showing your support and you could drive home with the $100,000 prize!

Inaugural Diners club pro-am championship
This year we’re teaming up with Diners Club International to bring you our inaugural Pro-Am competition.
This will be an opportunity for some of our top players entering the 2015 National Tournament to play alongside pro golfers, past National champions, celebrities and sponsors.
We’re asking players on a single handicap entering this year’s Nationals to show their interest when they complete their registration. The top 24 senior men and 12 senior ladies who register their interest will be selected to play.

New format for senior divisions
Recently the Executive Committee approved a new format for the Senior Mens and Ladies divisions, which will be trialled at the 2015 National Tournament.
Why the change? The aim of the new format is to better prepare our top Maori golfers for other national and international tournaments.
Does this affect me? This change will affect those who make the top 16 (senior mens) or top 8 (senior ladies) after the Tuesday cut at the 2015 National Tournament. All other players and divisions will not be affected.
New format details for Senior Mens
Monday - all play 18 holes of stroke play.
Tuesday - all play 18 holes of stroke play.
Wednesday am- the top 16 players play 18 holes of stroke play. All other players will start match play.
Wednesday pm - the top 16 players will start match play.
Thursday - players continue with match play.
Friday - finalists continue with match play.
New format details for Senior Ladies
Monday - all play 18 holes of stroke play.
Tuesday - all play 18 holes of stroke play.
Wednesday - the top 8 players play 18 holes of stroke play. All other players will start match play.
Thursday - players continue with match play.
Friday - finalists continue with match play.
